Applications are now open for the 2026 Cascador ScaleUp Program, an initiative designed to support growth-stage African founders as they prepare to scale their businesses and access significant capital. The program is targeting 12 founders who are already leading companies with proven traction across both real economy and technology-enabled sectors, with a clear focus on strengthening leadership, improving strategy and unlocking long-term growth.

The Cascador ScaleUp Program is built for founders who have moved beyond the early stages of business and are now preparing for expansion. It focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with the clarity, discipline and confidence needed to grow sustainably. Through a 12-week hybrid structure that includes two weeks of in-person sessions and ten weeks of virtual engagement, participants gain access to tailored support, expert guidance and practical tools that address real business challenges.

Participants will receive bespoke one-on-one support from investors, African and international experts, and strategic partners. This approach ensures that founders are not only learning but also applying insights directly to their businesses. The program also supports leadership development, helping founders become stronger decision-makers as their companies grow.

A key highlight of the initiative is access to funding opportunities. Founders who complete the program become eligible to apply for between $2 million and $5 million in debt or equity capital through the Cascador Catalytic Fund. This creates a clear pathway from learning to financing, enabling businesses to scale with the resources they need. In addition, participants will take part in a live Pitch Day, where $50,000 in prizes will be awarded to standout founders.

The program offers further support through covered travel, lodging and meals for in-person sessions, as well as a $5,000 stipend to assist with personal development. Beyond financial support, founders benefit from mentorship by experienced entrepreneurs and global experts, along with access to a strong network of peers and strategic connections. These elements are designed to provide deeper insight into each business, its customers and its market opportunity.

Cascador is specifically looking for founders who have at least two years of operating experience and generate a minimum of $70,000 in annual revenue. Applicants must be based in Nigeria or elsewhere in Sub-Saharan Africa and should demonstrate that their businesses have achieved product-market fit and are ready to absorb growth capital responsibly. The program also seeks entrepreneurs who are committed to building stronger governance structures and improving financial discipline as they scale.

Applications close on June 15 at 5 pm WAT, with the program set to begin on August 15. Founders are encouraged to apply early to allow more time to complete the process and to receive updates on their application status. Early applicants may also have the opportunity to receive an exclusive invitation to attend a Pitch Day event.
