The Creators Ventures Accelerator has launched this week, bringing together founders and content creators from around the world. Selected from 1,131 applications spanning more than 70 countries, this cohort features creators with collective reach across tens of millions of followers and users. The programme runs over the next ten weeks and will culminate in the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai from January 9 to 11, 2026. Included in this cohort are four innovators from Africa who will benefit from this initiative and build ventures with positive social impact.
Accelerating Creator-Led Ventures for Impact
The Creators Ventures Accelerator is designed to support content creators and startup founders in translating their digital influence into scalable businesses. It blends hybrid learning, mentorship and venture building so that participants go beyond content production to building sustainable ventures. The programme is organised by Creators HQ in partnership with 500 Global.
From over a thousand applicants, only twenty one creators and creator-led startups were selected. Among these, the four African participants stand out not just for their follower reach but for their regional impact and commitment to change.
Meet the African Innovators
- Aydan Al-Saad (Egypt) is the CEO of Skillstore and creator entrepreneur. With over 350,000 followers and 200 million views, he blends content creation with startup advising and venture building.
- Esraa Saleh (Egypt) is founder & CEO of Super Abla Educational Services. With 18 years in the startup ecosystem and 12 years as a storytelling expert, her records include a deal on Shark Tank Egypt and being named Startupper of the Year by Total Energies Egypt 2024.
- KIM TRAN (Ivory Coast) is CEO & Co-Founder at Trenderz, a platform that enables influencer marketing in Francophone Africa. She helps African brands boost visibility through creators and UGC (User Generated Content).
- Mariam Solika (Egypt) founded THE GOOD NEWS (TGN) at age 21, now reaching 20 million people monthly. She uses digital media and public policy to empower Arab youth and promote positive narratives for the region.
These four creators represent a mix of educational, social and brand-driven ventures. They bring regional insight and global ambition. Their participation in the accelerator means they will receive hands-on support, learn business-building frameworks, test models, refine strategies and get ready to showcase their ventures at the summit. The positive impact is clear: by strengthening their ventures they will be better able to reach audiences, generate value and support communities in Africa and beyond.
What This Means for Africa and the Creator Economy
This initiative arrives at a moment when the creator economy is rapidly expanding and holds potential for social and economic outcomes. The programme reports over 1,131 global applications from more than 70 countries. For Africa, the inclusion of these four creators signals that the continent’s digital voices and entrepreneurial talent are firmly part of the global creator economy.
By providing mentorship, networks and business frameworks, the accelerator helps move creator-led ventures from influence to enterprise. For the African participants this means building ventures that can scale, generate revenue and deliver social impact. It aligns with a broader objective of enabling creators to build companies, not just channels.
Because the accelerator ends at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai early 2026, these creators will gain global exposure, investor access and networking with industry leaders. This step is part of building a pipeline of African-led ventures that can attract global attention, investment and collaboration.
In practical terms the positive impact includes:
- Strengthening African creator-founders with global best practices and access to resources.
- Creating ventures that serve regional audiences and address local challenges through digital media, education, brand engagement and empowerment.
- Increasing representation of African voices in the global creator ecosystem, making it more inclusive and diverse.
- Building sustainable business models that can generate economic opportunities and social value across Africa.
The four African creators bring region-specific expertise: education and storytelling, brand enhancement for African markets, youth empowerment and startup advising. With the accelerator behind them they are likely to accelerate their growth trajectories, deepen their impact and expand their reach.
The Creators Ventures Accelerator is more than a programme for digital influencers. It is a vehicle for turning creative talent into purpose-driven businesses.
